Import Your Highrise Companies and Deals into Pulse

Posted on July 30th, 2009 in New Features & Updates

Just this week, we added a great new feature for importing information into your Pulse account. If you’re familiar with or use Highrise, the web based CRM from 37signals, then you can now import your companies and deals into Pulse. Here’s how:

From the Pulse Companies tab, you will now find an import section in the sidebar:

You have long been able to import your Basecamp companies and projects, and now you can import your Highrise companies. In addition to companies, we’ve also added the ability to import your Highrise Deals into Pulse as projects.

Just click on the appropriate link and you’ll be taken to the import page. Simply, enter in your Highrise account details and paste in your API authentication token from Highrise. You can find the API token by going to the “My Info” section in Highrise. That page will look something like this:

Once you have entered in your Highrise details, just click on the “Continue To Import…” button and you’ll be shown a list of companies or projects to review before import. After you’ve selected the appropriate companies, click “Import From Highrise” to import the information into Pulse.

It’s that simple. Now when you go to add income or expenses, you’ll see your list of Highrise companies and deals listed as projects. We hope you find this new feature useful.
